This weekend you can challenge Kaleideum staff in Pokémon Scarlet, Violet, or Pokémon GO, then see if you can track down and defeat our hidden Gym Leader somewhere inside the museum. Search the exhibits, hallways, and Liberty Plaza for hidden Pokémon cards to add to your collection, and complete a Pokémon-themed scavenger hunt for even more fun. The weather may be hot in Liberty Plaza, so remember your shorts; they're comfy and easy to wear! @wshouseofcards will be on hand to introduce the Pokémon TCG, answer questions, and share tips. Throughout the day, team up with fellow Trainers to take on Mega Mewtwo Y in Pokémon GO raids during Pokémon GO Fest. Don't miss this adventure, you don't even need to go into the tall grass for it!
Everyone, we want you to meet Elizabeth the Phoenix! Elizabeth is a celebration of hope, creativity, and the power of community. She was created by Winston-Salem artist @monaart of Mona & Associates Design. Elizabeth first took flight during Piedmont Environmental Alliance's Earth Day celebration, where children, families, educators, and neighbors were invited to write messages of hope and dreams for the future on her feathers. Every feather on her wings carries a real voice from our community, making Elizabeth a beautiful reminder that we're stronger, more creative, and more hopeful together. Now, she's found her forever home at Kaleideum, where she'll continue inspiring curiosity and imagination in everyone who visits. ✨ Be sure to stop by the first floor hallway to the left of the elevators to see Elizabeth up close. As you admire her incredible wings, take a moment to read the messages woven into her feathers, you might even find a little inspiration of your own. Have you met Elizabeth yet? Peek-a-boo 👹 We have a surprise mini pop-up! • We are bringing the darkness out of our usual bi-monthly schedule and spreading it to @alleyofthearts for an evening pop-up.
