Sundance is a special boy looking for someone with a big heart to give him a forever home. Sundance was diagnosed with FeLV, or feline leukemia and FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Because of this diagnosis, Sundance will need to go to a home with either no other cats or a home with other cats that also have feline leukemia. Cats with feline leukemia can live a normal life until the virus starts to be symptomatic at which point they will need supportive care. The averag…e lifespan for a cat diagnosed with FeLV is 2 years past the date they are diagnosed, but there are many instances of FeLV cats living very long lives with regular veterinary care. FIV is a condition that also impacts the immune system. It is only spread through deep bite wounds so is not typically spread among cats in a home setting. We understand that opening your home to a cat like Sundance might seem scary, but we know the perfect home is out there for him who will give him an amazing and loving home for the time he has, whether that’s for a long time or a short time. Enough about his diagnosis… let’s talk about Sundance! He is a super sweet and cuddly boy who loves to snuggle up with his humans. He’s a typical playful kitten who likes to play with toys or watch birds out the window. This guy is sure to be a light of joy in his adopter’s life. Are you his special someone?
