Only four weeks ago, we posted an emaciated dog that was brought to AARF. A woman who was passing through Winston-Salem found him, and somehow, she found us! He was very emaciated, weak, and dehydrated, but very friendly. Take a look at him now! He is bouncy, curious about the world, and eating regular food. Now almost 50 pounds (a 48% increase from his weight at intake), he is full of himself. He romps with his foster canine family and is having the time of his short puppy life. The woman who found him and took the time out from her trip to find us is a hero. Kudos to Mary and Dan for taking him in with open arms and providing him with exactly what he needed. His name is Loki and he’s a total joy, and may well become a foster failure! And thank you AARF for being there to save this young boy’s life!
