NOTICE: The NC Forest Service will be performing a prescribed controlled burn of our wildlife area located near the BMX Track and Yadkin River TODAY Thursday, February 29th, 2024.

This is an annual maintenance activity to control vegetative growth and improve nesting sites at that location. This has the potential to produce large amounts of smoke that may be visible and smelled from various locations. Forsyth County Fire Department as well as Davie County officials have been notified and are aware.
