Just a little “food for thought” When you book a food truck for an event please keep in mind that we have a lot invested and are not able to come out and sit for hours for nothing. On top of the cost to own our food trucks we have numerous hours vested in prep for the event as well travel time and time unloading after the event. So for your 4 hour event the food truck will have at least 8 hours vested in the event. This being the reason for a minimum fee for events. Event coo…rdinators please talk with your food truck to see how much volume they can handle. Also please do not have multiple food trucks at the event selling the same or similar items. This is poor etiquette. A little something to think about is if you expect 500 people then more than likely 300-400 people may show up and of the 300-400 people generally only half will eat at the food truck. If you are not sure please ask a food truck owner questions about your event to pick their brains on how many trucks you may need for the event. These costs have gone up but it is a good generalization. It’s also just some good advice.
