They’re featuring a one-night-only house band, backing up talented local female musicians covering the songs of Lilith Fair’s female artists. Not familiar with Lilith Fair? It was a legendary ’90s touring festival, curated by Sarah McLachlan, showcasing female-fronted bands and solo artists like Jewel, Sheryl Crow, Suzanne Vega, and the Indigo Girls. But this event isn’t just about the music; it’s for a fantastic cause. We’re raising funds for LEAD GIRLS OF NC, an organization dedicated to empowering and fostering leadership skills in middle school girls.
