Happy 8th Year Anniversary to River Rock Cafe thanks for providing many meals and hospitality to all who visit #StokesCoJoin the other part of our family this week at River Rock Cafe in beautiful little Danbury, NC As we celebrate its 8th Anniversary. Yes, 8 years ago March 14t…h our families presence to serve our community expanded. I always dreamed of my husband having a presence in my hometown with his talents of running a great restaurant that was inspired by his grandma and experience from The famous Peppers Restaurant in Boone. The name, River Rock Cafe was scribbled on sketchbook paper many many years before it came to fruition . So proud of my husband and all our kids including John-Luke ( who was the first to step in and help ) then Paul-Michael who early after High School decided that was going to be his career path and Lauren later joining in. With each generation typically a business gets better taking the success of the former generation and then adding the gifts and passions of the next generation to an already established success. I have to say Lauren and Paul-Michael have definitely added. Also want to thank everyone else from family to friends that work there and have worked there that have been a part of seeing them to this 8 year anniversary . So many great memories made. We have a great community surrounded by the most amazing folks anyone could ask for. Thank you to all the friends and families that have and continue to support them allowing them to fill your belly with amazing and healthy food and making family traditions with your families there too.
