Four years ago today we became a partner of Forsyth County Animal Services – NC and expanded our services to a second location at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter. Our intake increased from over 1,500 cats and dogs per year in 2017 to caring for over 6,000 cats and dogs yearly as we became the only open admission animal organization in our county. When the partnership started, Forsyth Humane Society & Forsyth County Animal Services set a goal to increase the save rate to 90%… by 2023. During the last 4 years, we have save thousands of cats and dogs and worked together to provide resources to the community both at the shelters and in the field. We will continue leveraging our resources to help serve the community and #SAVEFURSYTH.
