Forsyth County outperformed itself in the Arts Council ( @artscouncilwsfc )fundraiser this year! The Parks & Recreation Department celebrated our employee’s hard-work and generosity last week by getting some “payback” on members of our department leadership! Staff members were able to donate extra money and spare change into jars with leadership names on them. The highest totals were selected to be Pied and Iced by their coworkers!

Our Assistant Director of Business Operations, Constantin Stamati and our Parks Operation Manager, Alex Bennett had the most money raised in their jars!

In the month of May, Forsyth County Parks & Recreation raised a total of $497. Better yet, Forsyth County as a whole raised $19,011 which will go towards supporting numerous arts programs and continually growing the arts presence in Forsyth County!
