We heard about the “new” Tex Mex BBQ joint on broad street so y’all know we had to check it out! I heard East of Texas was owned by the same people who own @theporchws so we trusted the food, staff and atmosphere would live up the the same standard.

We got the brisket platter with Mac and cheese and the salmon tacos, both were amazing. Our favorite part was that Mac and cheese????

As you can see in the video, East of Texas is an open concept restaurant. They have great outdoor seating with games to play as you let your food digest. We played cornhole after dinner and enjoyed the overall atmosphere!
