After 30 years of service, Sgt. Kevin Bowers of the WSPD Downtown Bike Patrol is officially retired! Known affectionately as the “unofficial Mayor of Downtown”, Sgt. Bowers has embodied community policing and what it means to be a true beat cop. It was an honor to host a Retirement Celebration for him last week and we just want to thank him again for his years of extraordinary service to our Downtown community.
