You’ve enjoyed a summer full of swimming or sunbathing at the Hanging Rock State Park Lake! Now that Summer is coming to a close [Collective uuuugh] dates for swimming will be limited at the Lake. Boat, Canoe, Paddle Board Rentals will remain available past Labor Day and during normally scheduled Summer Seasonal Dates. Remaining Dates for Swimming (North Carolina State Parks and Recreation) Include: Thursday, August 10th Friday, August 11th… Saturday, August 12th Sunday, August 13th Saturday, September 2nd Sunday, September 3rd Monday, September 4th (Labor Day) A float by Pedal Boat, Canoe, or Paddle Board are still available on normal open dates for the Hanging Rock Lake throughout August.
