The West End Cafe Family is deeply saddened by the passing of prominent Winston Salem attorney David Freedman of COVID-19 complications. Our deepest sympathies go out to Mr. Freedman’s family, friends and colleagues. David was a frequent visitor to the Cafe and it was an honor to have considered him part of our extended family of regular customers. As we return to business after the Labor Day Holiday, we join with the City of Winston Salem and the entire legal community of North Carolina in mourning the loss of such an icon of integrity and professionalism.
